This small etching with hand written in pencil by the artist below the image from left: title, edition size, and artist's signature. Glasgow Print Studio chop mark to bottom right corner. Image size: 10.5 x 7.5cm; sheet size 29 x 22cm. Unframed. Fine condition. Note: In January 1992 Byrne began a series of explorations of the angel theme, notably 'Coy Angel', 1992 etching (GLAPS 2008. 166 AND 167), and 'Thoughtful Angel', 1992, etching (GLAPS 2008. 174).'Pink Angel' was the only etching to be issued in an edition. Other variations on the theme are:'Angel Blue and Gold', 'Blue Angel', 'Le Angle d'or' and 'Starry-Eyed Angel'. Some artist's proofs of 'Pink Angel' were pulled in 2009.
