Photo-Lithographed & Printed by Whiteman and Bass. PRINT IS DATED 1871 AT THE TOP MARGIN AREA. Originates from an architectural & engineering art journal "The Building News" circa 1870s. The journal contained many plates showing architectural drawings & details of buildings, furniture & interiors; plans & elevations of award winning designs. Some of the designs were presentation drawings that may not have been the final draft. Approximate Image Size: 15 X 11 inches Approximate Overall Size: 17 X 12 1/2 inches CONDITION: There are 3 folds in the plate. Suitable browning with mild creases otherwise still in Very Good Condition for it's age. Blank on Reverse side. This beautiful architecture print would look great matted and framed. An art supply store can provide you with a selection of frames for old art treasures. NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU PURCHASE: This is a GENUINE ANTIQUE VINTAGE PRINT. It is NOT a modern reproduction, ie. a laser scan, photocopy etc. It is the original from the antique or vintage atlas or book publication.
