(11.02 x 14.96 inch).THE MORALIST-LADIES-WOMEN | DPO-A2-003-39BACKGROUND INFORMATIONPublished in London, dated 1787.Biography engraver: William Nutter (1754-1802), English engraver and draughtsman.Biography artist: John Raphael Smith (1751-1812) was a British painter and mezzotinter. He was the son of Thomas Smith of Derby, the landscape painter, and father of John Rubens Smith, a painter who emigrated to the United States. . Condition: fair, given age. Several imperfections: edges with smal tears, one larger tear top edge. Crinkles and creases. Corners weak and some paper loss. Sold as is. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
