Made by 'Jean Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine' after 'Rembrandt van Rijn'. Jean Pierre Norblin de Gourdaine (1745-1830) was a French artist, who spent several years in Poland. He was heavily influenced by Rembrandt. Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) is undoubtedly the most famous artist of the dutch Golden age. He made a large oeuvre of prints throughout his live, which are famous sougt after, particularly in early impressions. Fair, given age. Small margins, some surface browning. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. The overall size is ca. 5.7 x 6.9 cm. The image size is ca. 5.1 x 6.5 cm.
