This serigraph is classic Nesbitt with two lilies forcing themselves on the viewer as they fill the image area. This combination serigraph and photo-mechanical process is printed on heavy stock and editioned, dated, and signed in graphite: "494/500 L. Nesbitt 1979". There is a blindstamp lower left which reads: "Charles Cardinale Fine Creations Inc. Serigraph". Image: 6" x 9" on an 8 3/4" x 10" sheet. Lowell Blair Nesbitt (1933-1993), an American artist who wored in multiple mediums, gained most recognition for his realistic paintings and prints of botanical subjects. His works are in the collections of most major museums, including: Museum of Modern Art, National Art Gallery, Hirshhorn Museum, etc. Condition: Fine condition. Seller Inventory # PR00383
