Engraving after painting at the Detroit Institute of Art (78.67); in same direction: the three kings presenting their gifts to Child sitting on white drapey, with Virgin and Joseph behind him; several people, shepherds, soldiers, surrounding them. Lettered on the bottom in Latin and French with text from Matthew. Signed on the bottom left: 'Joan. Jouvenet inv. and pinx.' Engraving on paper, trimmed within plate mark, pasted on laid paper; total: 417 x 274 mm; soiled, tiny worm holes, minor damages repaired with pasting on thick laid paper; brown stain above.
