Attractive 1898 3rd edition hardcover in medium brown cloth covered boards with bright gilt titles and an image of a mare and foal on frt cover. Solid black endpapers, 34 pp text is tight, bright and unmarked with three repaired short fore-edge tears on two preliminary pages, small chip at fore-edge of tissue guarding the pictorial frontis, former owners' name/1941 date on first blank endpaper. Tips and spine ends bumped and rubbed, still displays well. Surprisingly comprehensive for such a slender volume.
