This VG+ quality possible first edition book was published in 1919 by A. L. Burt Company. It is 7-9/16" tall and has 228 numbered pages followed by 12 unnumbered pages of ads. It has a slight lean, is extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with no fabric damage to the head and slight fabric damage at the heel; both bottom and top edges have mild fabric deterioration. The front panel is undamaged. Except for a small purple ink stamped name / address on the FFEP and the RFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. There are no illustrations beyond the frontis. The paper has aged quite well and has only very mild toning and is still very flexible. The VG+ quality jacket is clean and not faded; it also has very small chips at both front corners and at the head and heel of the spine; no lettering is affected by these chips.
