Yakky Doodle and Chopper. Happy Time Series No 54. Written by Pat Cherr and illustrated by Al White and Hawley Pratt. Originally published in the USA by Golden Press inc. in 1962. This is the UK edition, first, produced in 1964 by Golden Pleasure Books. Size: 6 x 8 inches. Pages: 24. Condition: Very good. The front cover is slightly creased and the corners a little soft. The pages are browned at the very edges, but un-thumbed and un-marked save for a child having written his name in the 'Belongs To' box and another having written her name over it. A letterhead stamp, of the sort that marks the page without ink, has been used at least seven times on the pages. This is not particularly noticeable, but the marks are there none the less.
