One of the articles is a chapter on the history of the Mohawk Valley as a "channel of civilization" by the Rev. A. L. Byron-Curtiss. Another chapter is on McKinley and the Spanish War by Gen. Stewart L. Woodford. Frontispiece photographic plate is of a display of battle flags from the Civil War with accompanying description of the battlefield exploits of each Regiment represented. Paper covers of this are fraying and chipping at the edges, and with short tears, but it is still basically intact after nearly a century. Cover still quite firmly attached.
