About this title

Synopsis:

Wyoming has always exemplified the West. Now as part of the new fully redesigned state book series, photographer Russell Lamb offers a fresh perspective on the Wyoming landscape. Featuring vivid images from Yellowstone, Devil's Tower, and the Grand Tetons, Wyoming captures the heart of Western heritage. Wyoming sweeps through the impossible peaks of the Rocky Mountains to the vast Great Plains, from majestic plateaus to the meandering Platte and Big Horn Rivers. Discover new details about the unique history and culture of this state in extended captions and never-before-published photographs. Fall in love with the West again in Wyoming.

About the Author:

Russell Lamb graduated from the Famous Photographers School in New York, and studied under Ray Atkeson, and was inspired by Richard Avedon, Joseph Costa, Arthur d"Arazien, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Philppe Halsman, and others. He received awards of excellence from Victor Hasselblad and Linhof Technika, both camera systems he used extensively. He passed away after a brief illness in 2009 in his home in Portland, Oregon.
