7 1/2 in. x 9 1/2 in. celluloid-coated paper card stock, with 16 color, photo-mechanical, reduced size images of display plates, with printed floral designs, to be used to display photographic portraits. With heading: CHART NO. 5 NEW WOODCRAFT AND FLOWER ART SPECIALTIES MADE IN 6 INCH ROUND. 6 x 8 OVAL, HAND PAINTED This features: No. 305 Lilies of The Valley (6 in.); 507 Pansies & Violets (6 in.); 206 Poppies (6 inch); 508 White Spiraea (6 in.); 208 Violets (6 inch); 308 White Rose (6 in.); 506 Apple Blossoms & White Spiraea (6 in. ); 108 Sweet Roses (6 inch); 106 Mahogany or Oak Finish 96 x 8); 101 Queen Ivorette (6 x8 oval); 105 Mahogany or Oak Finish (4 1/2 x 6 1/2); 310 Roses & Daisies (6 x 8 oval); 514 Apple Blossoms & Pansies (6 x 8 oval); 215 Poppies & Violets (6 x 8 oval); 515 Violets & White Spray (6 x 8 oval); 320 Beauty Rose (6 x 8 oval). The lower right-hand edge shows a one inch split to the card; some pencilled numbers on the back of the card. The sheet shows some curling, and yellowing to the surface. Very scarce tradesman's sample cards, these were kept in photographic studios, novelty & gift shops, to assist in ordering these now, quite rare and collectable plates; Number five of a larger series. Few of these now survive, as they easily deteriorate if not protected from light and heat (they must be stored away from bright light, heat, and as with any celluloid products, away from any open flame, or high heat).
