An unusual leather bound edition of the 6 volume set. Each volume is gold edged with gilt decoration on covers. Spines are faded. The cover of volume VI is folded along the top. Cardboard endpages have come loose from front leather covers on several volumes. First free endpage through title page are loose in vol. VI. Previous owner's name label on first endpage and written on top margin of title page .Small pencil marks on last page and/or endpaper in some volumes.
