Kazu Maeda (1908-2005) Born in Tokyo in 1908. 1923 Tokukoku. Established in 1930 at Bailin National Academy of Fine Arts. In 1935, he was selected for the second part of the exhibition, and was awarded the Showa Foreign Film Award. In 1936, the Kojira Equality Group was founded by the New Production Association. 1950 Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1955, he won the Grand Prize at the Japan International Art Exhibition. In 1956, he received the Mainichi Art Award for works such as Itokan. 1991 Received the 4th Order of the Rising Sun Award.
