Gilt lettering on spine, front board stamped in black, blind-stamping to rear board. Page dimensions: 7 1/4" x 5 7/8" (186 x 124mm). 19th century American feminist writer. The book has a printed dedication "To Worthy and Industrious Women in the United States, striving to earn a livelihood". The book is divided into 533 sections or chapers, mostly describing an individual occupation or type of work.
