A rare full colour poster from the era of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Landscape format 77cm x 53cm. Thin white paper. Designed by Zhejiang Art College (Zhejiang is a province near Shanghai). It depicts Mao Zhedong greeting a large group of people who represent a cross-section of Chinese society, all of whom carry his "little red book". The text reads; "Wishing Chairman Mao a long and healthy life".Publisher's no.: 70026, priced at 0.14 yuan. Condition: very good with folds, a few small creases and a little loss towards the bottom right corner. Provenance: from a private collector in Nanjing. Seller Inventory # 004139
