8th ed., octavo, original cloth boards with Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh decorated in gilt upper board, illus endpapers, b&w illus, pp xi, 159. Previous owner's signature (dated 1929) blank endpaper. Corners lightly bumped and rubbed, slight fraying foot of spine. Small closed tear inner hinge front endpaper map. Generally clean and bright. Very good condition. Early printing of the first collection of stories about the immortal Winnie the Pooh and his friends, with the charming original E.H. Shepard illustrations.
