1933. No edition remarks. 227 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards. Black and white illustration plates. Black and white frontispiece. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Front free endpaper missing. Frontispiece creased. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Hard cover in price-clipped dust wrapper, 227pp, b&w plates. White dw lightly yellowing and a bit worn at edges, 1.5cm tear at bottom edge of front dw (approx 1cm in from flap fold). Board edges lightly worn, previous onwer's ex libris plate centre of front pastedown, top edges of pages browned; a good copy. The author served with Jagdstaffel 34 and 35, for the most part flying Fokker D.7 aeroplanes. Includes details of the Verdun Front, the Somme, the Amiens Offensive, the English Offensive and Cambrai.
