This 9.5 x 12.5, 274 page book is the stated first edition of this title. The book itself is in very good condition. The navy blue cloth coverings show very little edge wear but there is some spotting on both the front and back boards. The spotting is not distinctive but does show against the dark blue cloth. The interior text is in at least near fine condition with no wear or damage to be seen anywhere. The color plates and illustrations are vivid and bright and the information in this book is considered amongst the best descriptions of indian life in the Rocky Mountain West. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with some crinkling and rubbing to the edges and panels but all in all a very nice wrapper. 274 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-449
