Previous owner's inscription to front paste-down. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Mild crushing to spine ends, with fraying cloth and small splits. With lovely endpapers decorated with the blue crests of the Royal Automobile Club and the Royal Albert Yacht Club. In a full cloth binding. Externally very smart, some rubbing to the extremities and joints and minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Contains an ownership bookplate of an R.
