About this Item
Wendingen, Series 10, N. 5-6. Printed in the Netherlands by C.A. Mees. 1929, 36 pp, 13 x 13 , softcover paper binding. In as-is condition, with rubbing and wear to covers, primarily along the edges. Pages are loose, with 5 of 6 stings that bound the text block being detached. General age-related toning to pages, with small inscriptions at the top of the title page. Filled with numerous black-and-white photographs and drawings throughout. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce copy of Wendingen, a Dutch architectural and art magazine that existed from 1918 to 1932. This work focuses on the work and style of Jan Frederick Staal (1879-1940), a Dutch modernist architect. Despite the wear, this piece would be an excellent candidate for restoration.
