A Very Good and clean Book Club Edition (blind dot on the rear board). The jacket is chipping and worn about the edges, missing a 1.5" x .5" piece from the back. Copyright page states, "Published by The Viking Press in February 1947" and lists Kingsport Press as the printer. 312 pages. 5.5" x 8". The Wayward Bus (1947) is a novel told from shifting viewpoints of the various characters. It was later adapted into a film starring Jayne Mansfield, Joan Collins, Dan Dailey, and Rick Jason. .
