Brown boards with gilt titling, brown cloth spine with gilt titling, tipped-in colour frontispiece, illustrated throughout with black and white drawings and eight more very attractive tipped-in plates, some in colour, some in black and white. Corners have wear, spine ends and edges worn and split, but spine cover still attached, binding shaky, text block and page edges darkened, previous owner's name in ink and bookplate on end paper.
