Assume reprint, Title states "With illustrations and new maps". Hardback. Pale green paper-covered board with black titles and decoration to front and spine, b/w advert "Aqua Pura" to lower board. Green advert endpapers. Neat ownership dated 1887 to pre title. 128pp + 85pp adverts to rear. VG clean and bright original folding map to title page (470mm x 490mm) with very small repair (archival tape?) where map is pasted to page. Lacks plan of Leamington, (no evidence it ever existed). 4 Colour plates + 40 b/w wood engravings within text. Some contemporary pencil annotations to margins throughout, otherwise clean, bright and tight. Boards rubbed and chipped with paper loss to head of spine. All holding tightly with NO splits between boards and block. Apart from mystery of the Leamington plan, an acceptable copy of a rare book. Seller Inventory # 7671
