Red black lettered cloth, generally clean and unworn, covers quite bright but spine darkened with sm. white spot of pigment loss to bottom presumably from small label removal, top back edge also slightly darkened. 272 pp.; a bookseller's sm. gilt label bottom fr. paste-down otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked but top outer corner creasing top pp.73-116, a couple extending quite deeply and 3 toi bottom corners in same block, some traces of off-set dusting to facing pages. This is apparently 1st American edition of Principles of Industrial Civilisation pub. in UK previous year though has 1916 Century copyright date, so possibly 2nd. Very scarce in UK. 13 cm x 19.5 cm.
