A wonderful vintage catalog for D&W Magnetic Chucks, published by Providence's D&W Fuse Company. It is a softcover volume, 23 pages in length, with brown paper wraps. Saddle-stapled binding. The book is nicely illustrated throughout in black and white with drawings, diagrams, and tables. It contains a price list, descriptions and specifications for the products for sale. Many of illustrations are of machinery using D&W Magnetic Chucks, including the Narragansett Disc Grinder, Whitcomb & Blaisdell Planer, and the Pratt & Whitney Vertical Surface Grinder with Water Attachment. The corners are lightly bumped and there is even toning throughout the interior. Ex-library with few of the typical markings: 621.33 and D&W are written in pencil on the front cover, where there's also a date stamp from Mar 22 1915. The right edge of the front cover is more darkly toned than the rest of the wraps. Brown kraft-paper covers the exterior of the book, protecting it from wear and tear. The paper was attached with glue at the spine, including about an inch of the front and back covers, by a previous owner. Reference numbers and the name of the company are written in pencil and ink.
