An interesting collaboration between Pamela Grey (1871-1928), writer, former wife of 1st Baron Glenconner, and later wife of 1st Viscount Grey of Fallodon, and Stephen Tennant (1906-1987), poet, decorator and aesthete, and only 19 years old when he made these drawings. Wonderful Art Deco tipped in plates. Condition is poor - the spine is missing (there are spare labels tipped in at back), marbled paper boards are water damaged and some damp has got in at the top causing some staining but affecting the plates very little.
