This G+ quality first format book was published in 1899 by Lee & Shepard and is 7-1/2" tall with 332 numbered pages of text followed by 8 unnumbered pages of ads. This book--one-piece blue-gray binding with gold lettering for the title--has a pronounced lean, is somewhat soiled, free of edge dings with both lower corners lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are lightly bumped with some wear but no fraying; the bottom edges have very little wear. The spine is moderately soiled and worn. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The text paper is lightly toned and is a bit stiff and not at all brittle. The frontis + 7 are present and intact. The lists in the front and the rear of the book list all six titles in this series.
