This VG- quality possible first edition book was published in 1916 by Hurst & Company. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 314 numbered pages of text. This book has a slight lean, is reasonably clean, free of edge dings with both front corners lightly bumped; head and heel of the spine are bumped with no fraying; the bottom edges have very little wear. The front panel illustration, in red, black and tan, is not faded and is in pretty good condition; the spine is lightly soiled. Except for a penciled 1916 name / date on the front paste down, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type.
