Color glossy illustrated boards showing a chubby child in a blue snowsuit riding a wheeled toy which looks like some sort of yellow bird with a orange beak and green eyes. Corners and edges of boards rubbed, red cloth backstrip has rubbing at head. Undated copy with gift dedication on fep dated 1933. Tiny vintage Woodward & Lothrop DC bookstore sticker on rear pastedown. Unpaginated, 68 heavy gauge pages including color glossy frontice illust by M.B. Jones. Rear hinge cracked, spine has been properly reglued with ph neutral bookbinder's adhesive. No tears or soil within. # E 203 on corner of color frontis and foot of first page. An anthology of stories, poems and rhymes in large font for easy reading. Exceedingly rare volume in VG order. A glorious addition to any childhood library. Seller Inventory # 36969
