We're sorry; this specific copy is no longer available. Here are our closest matches for The Twenty-Fifth (25th) Hour by Gheorghiu, C. Virgil.

Description:

Hardcover with dustjacket, this title was published in 1950 in the U.S. by Alfred Knopf and Henry Regnery, we were unable to ascertain whether they were published simultaneously, both are listed as first American printings, we do know that the Henry Regnery edition is scarcer and the only mention of an earlier publication on our copy is the original 1949 French edition, the green cloth binding looks virtually new, it is tight and the contents are flawless, a tiny bit of rubbing to the corners is the only book flaw, the dustjacket has a few short edge-tears and surface-wear along the folds and at the spine-tips, the jacket is clean and presentable, the original price (6.50) is present, and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, humanity's dark side is portrayed in this novel, translated from the Romanian, the author began writing it in one concentration camp and finished it in another.
