About this Item
93pp. A child learns about nature through conversations with enchanted, talking insects With charming illustrations in an Art Deco style, reminiscent of Japanese prints, colored in pastels. A lovely children's book, published first in England in 1920. Head of spine bumped, and some toning to parts of illustrated endpapers, else a fine copy in illustrated boards backed in cloth. The dust jacket is just fair, with stains and chips, but has served to protect the book very well. Seller Inventory # 008199
