First edition. 98mm x 60mm. Pp. [50]. Plates [13] including a frontispiece. Fold out Calendars preceding the text and after it, with the signs of the Zodiac at the head of each Month. All edges gilt. Contents lightly browned and soiled. Red morocco (?) binding, corners bumped with the boards showing, the covers with a single line frame and intertwined stems and triple flower heads and berries, the spine with a tooled frame along its length. The original, slightly faded, red Morocco ( ? ) slip case is intact, the covers with an outer single line frame of intertwined flower heads and stems. The copperplate engravings feature scenes from the Bible. This is a near very good copy of rare Almanac complete with it's rare slip case. The Library Hub Discover ( on-line 5/23 ) does not trace and copies. OCLC FirstSearch ( on-line 5/23 ) locates only two copies - Grolier Club, New York ( Embroidered binding, 1770.OCLC: 80504719 ).
