Dust jacket is rubbed, damp-stained and chipped with chunk missing from bottom of front panel; some loss to crown; price-clipped; now protected in mylar. From the dj flap: "Patrick Mahon was no ordinary murderer - a capable and successful business man, possessed of an exceedingly pleasing personality, an athlete in his day, a regular attendant at church but responsible for a brutal murder, done in such circumstances and atmosphere as to make him an interesting object for the psychologist." This is my personal collection from which I am de-accessing most everything, including a vast amount of ephemera, art work (steel engravings, pouchoir, collotype), movie posters (of the 1940's - 50's) and a mass of important 19th c. bound periodicals (Oology to Archeology, Mathematics, Botany, Knitting), and 20th c. Art journals, Italian Fascist publications, etc., culled from Walter J. Johnson's liquidation, as well as a collection rare jazz records, including 100's of Boogie Woogie and BeBop '78s, And much more, just ask.
