This VG quality book was published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1954. It is square, reasonably clean, free of edge dings and corner bumps; head of the spine is lightly bumped with no fabric damage; the bottom edges have a slight amount of wear. The binding has not kept its original dark blue hue but has faded somewhat to a paler, faded, blue. Both hinges are strong and intact. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. The paper is very mildly toned and still quite flexible. The VG- jacket is not faded, clipped nor taped and is very clean. It has very small chips at both front corners with slightly larger ones at the head of the spine (see photos); plus there are 3 short tears (the longest is 1/2 inch) at the top edge of the front panel. The book and jacket both list through all 8 title in this series. The book is not remaindered nor ex-library. Seller Inventory # BR-2020-5-17-6
