Top edge of pages stained orange. Pictorial orange and white endpapers with various scenes from the Tom Swift 1910-1941 series. Victor Appleton was a house pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate, most famous for being associated with the Tom Swift series of books. As with all editions, this comes with a glossy paper frontispiece illustrating a scene from a cited page in the book. Condition:Near Fine in Full color Very Good- dj, Top of spine and one corner bumped. Tiny amount of foxing on page ends. Tight and clean. DJ has two 1" tears with wear to top and bottom of spine and flap folds. Spine so sunned that the writing is very light. Lists to Giant Cannon on copyright page, but to Giant Magnet (1932) in back ad and Circling the Globe (1927) on dj flap. Book Seller Number 8001. Seller Inventory # 8001
