1904. INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR, dated 1907. Brown cloth boards with gilt decoration and titles. Boards have general wear, light soil and discoloration spotting to bottom edges of both panels and margin of front panel. Edgewear to joints and spine extremities, pushed inward. Minor small creasing to exterior hinge. Interior hinge splitting. Damp stain to top, bottom and along hinge of front endpapers, much of text and last end pages. Creasing to last end paper. Damp stain to upper right corners of text starting at the very tip of approx pg 275 and increasing in size as pages increase. Gilt top edge to text block. Soil at edges of text block. Edgewear to some pages. Corners rubbed, back corners turned inward. See images. Seller Inventory # 1411
