About the Author: Marco Paoluzzo, born in Biel, Switzerland, in 1949, studied at the Vevey Photography School. In 1981, he returned to his hometown, where he worked in advertising and industry. His career veered towards travel photography following the appearance of his first book, 'Iceland'. His photographs have been exhibited in many shows and are part of collections of several museums in Switzerland and abroad. He has published 12 books of photography. Pierre Rouyer, former editor in chief of the Swiss magazine 'Animan', regularly publishes reports with main focus on nature and ecology.
