Green cloth with gilt lettering. Spine darkened, lettering is difficult to read. Light rubbing to all edges, head and heel of spine bumped, tips of corners rubbed to boards. Text is clean and bright, no marks. Lightly and evenly tanned. Mild soil shows on closed outside edges. With decorations throughout by Edward Shenton. This is the second printing of the first edition, with Scriber's colophon to copyright page, but without the first edition 'A' present.
