10.5" x 8.5", spiral-bound pictorial boards, 20 cardstock pages (10 leaves) with each leaf adorned with a black child's head protruding above the top of the page. This is a great copy with none of the heads missing, torn, or creased at the neck (the page top); only minor bends to the last three heads. It is rare to find the heads in such condition. Corners are bumped and somewhat worn. One spiral opening has torn on the back cover (however, you can't really see this as it is hidden beneath the spiral). Otherwise in great condition: no writing, marks, etc., and the illustrations retain their bright color. BLACK INTEREST, BLACK AMERICANA. Seller Inventory # 02413v
