Brown tweed boards that feature a Tarzan-in-the-jungle decoration on the spine and upper board. The dust jacket has cover art by Gerard McCann. It also has the 'Books for Boys and Girls' catalog number '2638' on the spine tail. The dust jacket's front has a 0.75 inch top edge tear and related crease and a small upper corner tip chip.
