About this Item
*** IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE UK YOU MUST CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING AT CHECKOUT SO THAT I CAN SEND THIS BOOK AIR MAIL WITH TRACKING AND INSURANCE. IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL, I WILL REFUSE YOUR ORDER AND I WILL NOT TRADE WITH YOU AGAIN. *** This is a UK hardcover published by Cassell and Company in 1900 and one of the eighth thousand editions. The photos show the condition of the books better than I can describe them, but overall I am describing them as Very Good. The boards are stained as you can see but are solid, with an overall straight spine, sharp corners and softened spine ends. The interior sees the seam split between the front board and the end paper, but the spine is still attached and the binding tight. There is toning to the end papers and page edges but the text itself is clean. The book is illustrated throughout with both black and white and colour illustrations. The title page confirms this is one of the eighth thousand editions, published in 1900. Seller Inventory # 015666

Store Description
All books in my store are my own and in my possession. I expect customers to read my listings fully and look at all photos and be aware of the terms. I will work with everyone to resolve issues but I expect the same courtesy back - if I don't reply to an email within 24 hours it means I haven't received it so you'll need to resend.
I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. Tracking is NOT provided automatically on UK parcels - you have to choose priority mail AND pay an additional £7 postage on top.
