Text clean throughout. Top edge gilt. Front and bottom edges untrimmed. Previous owners' bookplates and inscription on feps. Hand drawn map of Iceland, Ireland, Great Britain and Scandinavia on ffep. Family tree of Halfdan the Black (King of Agdir) written neatly on back of half-title. Newspaper cutting of death of Magnusson pasted onto rear ep. Dark green cloth boards with gilt lettering and leaf motif on front board. Back of spine has been repaired with black leather which joins original leather on boards. No lettering on spine.
