no edition or printing stated only copyright date 1954 - assume 1st, light toning/dusting/foxing to top edge of text block with a touch of soiling to bottom edge - 1/8" deep loss of cloth covering with unraveling to top edge of spine, visible in my photo - short gift inscription to upper left of front free end paper - light foxing to front/rear end papers, dj now enclosed in mylar wrap shows edge wear, light soiling and fading to spine - 11/8" wide x 7/8" deep piece missing with further 41/8" tear and associated 31/2" crease, 1/4", 3/8" and 5/8" tears with 1" crease all along top edge of front panel (tears tape-repaired on verso) - 1/4" closed tear top right of rear panel - chipping to top/bottom of spine with some scuffing to folds - chip with 1/4" tear to top of fold rear panel to flap - 2" tape-repaired tear to top and 1/8" tear to bottom with a little scuffing to fold front panel to flap, original price intact.
