Not ex-lib; small red dot (remainder mark?) lower page edges. Hardcover in green cloth, in panel-sannning, predominantly yellow, orange and green illustated jacket, small 8vo. 15th printing, April 1952. xiv + 448pp. with unpaginated 16pp. b/w plate section preceding text. prefactory map + maps on endpapers. VG to VG+/VG to VG+. Mild sunning along lower edges of cloth; mildly toed-in corners; cloth and titles clean and sharp; bindng strong and square; pages and plates and clean clean and unmarked with light stress creases off gutter on plates (nearly indiscernible on figures). Jacket has light scuffing along fore edges and hinges; light rubbing with very mild soil to yellow background of overall clean bright jacet. Jacket especially handsome in Brodart. Later reprint of common enough title but scarce in this condition with jacket. Seller Inventory # 035350
