I & II" on spine label pastedown, title page for Volume I reads " Orders in Council of the Imperial Government together with Treaties Negotiated between Her Majesty the Queen and Foreign Powers", title page for Volume II reads "Acts of the Parliament of the Dominion of Canada passed and held in the Sixty-Third and Sixty-Fourth Years of the Reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria Being the Fifth Session of the Eighth Parliament Begun and Holden at Ottawa, on the First day of February, and closed by Prorogation on the Eighteenth day of July, 1900. His Excellency the Right Honourable Sir Gilbert John Elliot, Earl of Minto Governor General. Vol II Local and Private Acts", 312pp & 291pp (although there are no missing signatures or torn pages in the gutter, there are some page numbers missing in the second section. It appears as if the book was bound this way). Light spotting to endpapers otherwise pages are unmarked and firm in binding. Some pages have browned due to age/paper quality (not brittle). Boards have edge wear and are lightly bumped at the corners. Scar mark at the base of the leather spine, edge wear to leather. Pastedown title on spine has browned and has chipping/rub wear.
