Ix â " 311 pages + 32 pages of adverts, fill page and text illustrations. Pasted to front paste down a letter on headed paper from Selous dated Jan 15th 1910.The letter 3 sides folded and clearly written in ink to Mr Heath (Reginald Hepburn Heath, Heaths armorial bookplate on front free end paper). Selous thanks Heath for sending him a copy of The Bombay Natural History Society, Selous explains why he does not subscribe to the society. If he should ever visit India, he would like to meet Heath and renew their acquaintance. Selous ends by inviting Heath to have another look at his museum. Tipped onto front end paper are 3 newspaper cuttings relating to Selous death. Blind stamp to upper margin of half title and title page of the author's address. Publisher's grey cloth, gilt title and deer head vignette to upper cover, cloth clean and bright. Selous recounts a hunting trip to Asia Minor including hunting goat on the Malmum Dagh, the 2nd part of the book deals with his hunting trips to the Rocky Mountains Czech Asia 182.
