About this Item
Quarto. (15) 25 Units, unpaginated. Original yellow illustrated wrappers with brown lettering on cover. Revision and expansion of the trial material prepared for the Department of Missions of the Anglican Church of Canada. The Course is based on the concept of language as an integral part of culture and of a given language as a level of behavior patterning within any given cultural community. The course is designed for use with either recordings or a native speaker of Cree as a model, or both. Any attempt to proceed without either one or the other will render the material useless or even misleading (from the foreword). Three pages of errata and notes laid in. Text in Cree and English. Wrappers rubbed with sporadic creasing and some light foxing at bottom of front cover. Light foxing around edges of book block. Binding and interior in overall good condition.
