Small booklet of eight half-tone 3 x 5" images, captioned in the margins._____ The Douglas imprint is on the rear cover._____ Undated, but the pre-printed letter heading on the inside front cover is dated "190._____._____._____" and a manuscript emendation appears to be dated 1910._____ All the images of the county seat of Fergus County and the surrounding area._____  They include:  Carnegie Library, Bank of Fergus County, Judith Basin Flour Mills, Gold Reef Mining Company, sheep, cattle, a steam plowing outfit and a locomotive of the Montana Railroad "under difficulties" plowing through deep snow._____ Intended as a self-mailer, with a gummed perforated edge, designed to be torn off when opening._____  This example is postally used with the edge removed by the recipient._____ The insides of both covers are filled by a manuscript letter from one Lewistown woman to another in Malden, Ma._____  She reports that she has at least three children and is "just 5 minutes walk from the school house."_____  Her husband has a 32 horsepower steam tractor running 10 plows at a time . "the only way here._____"  The day of writing she has received a set of upper false teeth ("and my mouth feels rather full") and expects to get the lowers shortly._____  It being January they "have been having a little taste of winter "20 below zero."
