Scribner's seal but no letter on Publishers page, 1933 both on title page and copyright on Publishers page - early printing, toning with light soiling to edges of text block - light rubbing to bottom edges of boards and spine with a 5/8" line of unraveling of cloth covering to bottom edge of front board and a 7/8" line to rear board - a very small spot of loss to cloth covering to bottom corner of front board - several tiny spots of soiling/foxing to front/rear end papers - 2 tiny holes to upper fore-edge of page 231 and two tiny chips to fore edge with 11/8" wide x 1/4" deep piece chewed away to bottom edge of page 233, mylar enclosed dj shows toning, edge wear, light soiling with scuffing to folds - two very short tears with creasing along top edge with creasing to bottom edge of front panel - 1/8" tear to top edge with chipping and creasing along bottom edge of rear panel - 2" wide x 3/4" deep piece missing to top and 11/2" wide x 1/2" deep piece missing with further 3/8" and 3/4" tears to bottom of spine - chips to top/bottom of fold front panel to flap - chips to top/bottom with holes from insect damage to center 4" of fold rear panel to flap - 11/2" wide x 1/8" deep piece missing from insect damage to bottom edge of front flap, original price intact.
